We're hiring top graduates from colleges across the country to become future leaders at GEICO. Our two distinct programs seek motivated candidates who excel academically, possess demonstrated leadership skills, and desire to one day lead a team.

Emerging Leaders Program (ELP)

Designed for Business and Computer Science related majors; 3.5 overall GPA requirement.

This highly-selective, rotational program offers two distinct career tracks: Operations Management and Information Technology.

Supervisor Leadership Program (SLP)

Requires a Business degree or significant business coursework*; 3.2 overall GPA requirement.

GEICO seeks bright, driven individuals with a strong desire to lead others. This fast-track program develops future supervisors who will one day lead a team within a major business unit: Sales, Customer Service, Claims or Auto Damage.

After graduating in 2009, I joined the Emerging Leaders Program at GEICO. The high integrity standards, financial stability, as well as the advancement opportunities that GEICO offers were all things that I looked for when choosing where to start my career.

As a part of the Emerging Leaders Program, I have rotated through Underwriting and Claims. I have also assumed supervisor responsibilities where I can apply the skills learned through my rotations and impact our company's results. Exposure to different departments and all levels of management have helped me become a better leader... I continue to learn effective ways to impact and manage our growth and profitability. Working at GEICO has been a very rewarding experience so far!

After graduation from college, I decided to start my career with GEICO because of the company's reputation as a great employer, and the opportunities for professional and personal growth. I also felt that it was important to work for a company with outstanding values, that provides great service to its customers, and at the same time, values their employees.

The Supervisor Leadership Program allowed me to grow and interact with a variety of people and departments, and really prepared me for success in a leadership role. Shortly after completing my program, I was promoted to supervisor of our Military Service department, where we proudly serve those who serve us. I am also developing myself further by working toward the Associate in General Insurance designation with GEICO's support.

In 2007, I embarked on my career with GEICO because it seemed like a special place with a lot of opportunities.

In 2007, I embarked on my career with GEICO because it seemed like a special place with a lot of opportunities. Years later, I am delighted that I made this decision! We often hear our CEO say that "there's never been a better time to be a GEICO associate" and as an employee, I understand this more each day.

When entering the workforce, it was important for me to find a company where I would have job stability and a career. GEICO has given me this and more! Currently, I'm an Auto Damage supervisor which has been extremely rewarding — I coach, mentor and develop associates to accomplish tasks that they didn't feel were possible.

Joining the GEICO team through the Supervisor Leadership Program has been one of the best decisions I have ever made!

Joining the GEICO team through the Supervisor Leadership Program has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! It has taught me about the complexity of claims and the insurance industry, as well as invaluable leadership and management lessons — both from a classroom setting, on the job training, and direct mentoring.

Coming from a social sciences background, I wasn't sure what to expect. GEICO has far exceeded my expectations in many ways, including by having exceptionally high standards for customer service, and employee development and happiness.

In 2007, I began my career by rotating through all four levels of Claims in our Tucson office. Since finishing my program, I have been promoted twice! I've also had the fortune to work as the Executive Assistant to our regional VP and our assistant VP of Claims. The insights I gained from that position will stay with me for a lifetime. I am thankful every day to have the opportunity to work for such an exceptional company.
