Entry-level careers with big potential!

Start your career in one of our major business operations: Sales or Service. These areas are critical to ensuring our company's growth and continued success. Each career track offers industry-leading training, continuing education and advancement opportunities.

As a Sales Representative, you will:

• Take a state licensing exam in order to become a licensed insurance professional.
• Receive incoming calls from potential policyholders and gather necessary information to prepare specialized rate quotes.
• Achieve goals without the pressure of commissioned sales or cold-calls.
• Qualify for awards and bonuses based upon meeting your goals.

As a Service Representative, you will:

• Attend on-site training classes and, in some locations, take a state licensing exam.
• Delight customers by responding to incoming phone inquiries, answering their questions and meeting all of their policy changes and needs.
• Educate and help our policyholders understand the coverage they have or may need, and offer additional products and services.

Our Lakeland, Florida office offers a program called the Insurance Development Path. This program will allow me to experience GEICO's business operations.

Currently, I am in the customer service department; I will eventually work in sales and claims too.

My days go by quickly, as I am busy answering calls and assisting our customers.

I joined the GEICO team because of the great people that work here, the company's reputation, and the opportunity for career advancement!
