As an intern, you will spend 8 – 10 weeks during the summer at one of our offices and:

  • Gain an understanding of one or more business operations as you work on individual and group projects
  • Research and analyze business issues impacting GEICO and present results and recommendations to management
  • Receive mentoring and network with management and associates at all levels
  • Build leadership, communication and presentation skills and get involved in activities, service projects and social events
  • Receive competitive compensation for your hard work and be eligible for future employment consideration at GEICO

Who we're looking for:

  • We're recruiting college students who've completed their sophomore or junior year.
  • Students majoring in business, finance, insurance, marketing, management, mathematics, economics and related fields are encouraged to apply to internships in Buffalo, NY, Chevy Chase, MD (corporate office), Fredericksburg, VA, Macon, GA, Tucson, AZ and Virginia Beach, VA.
  • Undergraduates majoring in computer science, information systems, MIS, IST, computer engineering or related programs are encouraged to apply for information technology internships at our Maryland corporate office.
  • Ideal candidates will possess effective communication and problem-solving skills, as well as leadership potential. They will be inquisitive, motivated and able to work independently and within in a team. Be sure to read the detailed job descriptions for additional requirements.
