Achievement Awards

Driving your career. Insuring your future.

A tradition of recognizing exceptional college students.

For more than 25 years, we have offered the GEICO Achievement Award Program. This long-standing tradition supports some of our country's most outstanding undergraduate students by providing $1,000 awards and recognizing their dedication to academic success, leadership and service.

Program Overview

This annual program is open to college sophomores and juniors majoring in business, computer science, mathematics and related fields … all of which are critical to the success of companies like GEICO. The deadline to apply is February 22, 2013 and recipients will be announced in May 2013.

How To Apply

In addition to completing the program application, our selection committee also requires that applicants submit a resume, transcript, letter of recommendation and a short essay. This information allows us to select recipients who truly exhibit the values of our program and our company.

Participating Schools

While we actively advertise the program on select campuses across the country, students who are currently enrolled full-time at any accredited four-year college or university (and meet all other requirements) are eligible to apply.

Award Recipients

Each year students from across America are recognized by GEICO for their hard work and dedication. Please join us in congratulating this year’s recipients and enjoy the video slideshow.

Testimonials

Achievement Awards not only benefit students while they are in school, they can also open doors of opportunity! Several recipients first learned about GEICO through this program. From there, their interest was sparked and they began careers with us soon after graduation.
