Career Opportunities

Driving your career. Insuring your future.

So many opportunities at one company.

Our recruiters are hiring bright, driven graduates to join our team in a variety of career paths. So, whether you’re a Finance major, studying Computer Science or receiving a Liberal Arts degree … anything that you want to do in business, you can at GEICO.

Leadership Programs

GEICO's Emerging Leaders Program and Supervisor Leadership Program are management training paths that will teach you about our dynamic business, provide hands-on work experience, offer mentoring, and prepare you to one day lead a team in sales, customer service, claims, auto damage or information technology.

Actuary

Actuarial Assistants do more than crunch numbers! At GEICO, they tackle a variety of business issues, develop corporate strategies, present proposals and work on highly collaborative teams.

Analyst

Many graduates work as analysts at our corporate office in Chevy Chase, Maryland. If you have a degree in a quantitative field, enjoy working on teams, and possess strong computer and data analysis skills, consider one of our analyst careers.

Auto Damage

As an entry-level Auto Damage Trainee, you will learn the mechanics behind assessing vehicle damage, interact directly with customers, and work with the latest industry technology. This career path is rewarding, challenging and different each day!

Claims

Every claim is different and requires our associates to analyze all sorts of situations and show empathy as they work through difficult times with our customers. Working in insurance claims is a great way to launch an interesting career in a dynamic field.

Customer Service

If you are looking for a job that will allow you to use your people skills and makes a difference in customers’ lives, than a career in customer service may be right for you.

Information Technology

We’re more than just an insurance company — we’re a technology company, too. As one of the area’s largest IT employers, we have IT jobs that will utilize your .NET, Java, C#, SQL, Oracle and mobile app skills.

Sales

Starting a sales career at GEICO means selling an exceptional line of products for one of America’s most recognized brands! Our licensed sales representatives qualify for monthly bonuses based upon meeting goals and performance-based promotions.
