Submit an Application

  • You can search all GEICO jobs (by state, office location or keywords) without creating an account.
  • When you're ready to apply, you will be asked to register with our Careers site.
  • Candidates without computer access may apply in person at a GEICO HR location.
  • A completed application with full work experience and education is required to be considered for employment. NOTE: Do not enter "see resume" within the application fields.
  • Candidates who successfully submit a completed application will receive an email confirmation.
    • If your application was not successfully submitted, we will send you an email explaining what steps you can take to move your application along in the process.
    • Please check your "spam box" to ensure that you're not missing any important messages from our hiring team.
  • Once you've applied, we will review your application. If your knowledge, skills and abilities appear to match the qualifications we seek for one of our current job openings, we'll contact you directly by email or phone regarding next steps in our hiring process.
    • If you applied for a position in Sales, Customer Service, Claims or Auto Damage, we will accept one application and consider you for all customer contact center openings. If you're not hired, please note there is a six-month waiting period before we'll accept a new application for these positions.
    • If you are qualified for a leadership program, IT position or corporate opening, please submit a separate application directly for that position(s). There is no six-month window for reapplying to these jobs.

Interviewing with GEICO

  • We interview candidates for a wide range of career opportunities; the interview process may vary based upon position.
  • The interview process for customer contact positions, including Sales, Customer Service, Claims and Auto Damage, may include several steps: a phone screen, computer skills testing, interview with Human Resources, role playing exercise, and/or an interview with a hiring manager.
  • The interview process for corporate positions may include: an initial phone screen with a recruiter, on-site interviews and/or skills assessment.
  • Some candidates may make several visits to an office in order to complete the interview process. Others may be asked to stay for most of the day to complete multiple steps.

Our Selection Process

  • We conduct drug screens, credit and background checks of applicants who've accepted employment or internship offers.   • Candidates who are not selected to move forward in our selection process or who do not receive an offer will be notified in a timely manner.

For GEICO New Hires

  • Most new hires start on a Monday and attend GEICO 101, our new associate orientation program, within the first few days of being hired.
  • You'll receive more information on your first day from a member of our hiring team.
